Among some of the areas of focus in grade four include learning about regions and territories of the United States, examining matter, energy, plants and animals and habitats (which include setting up and observing ecosystems). Our year long concentration in Religion is the Ten Commandments the Beatitudes. In addition, we look at the history of Connecticut and our field trips, which include Old Sturbridge Village, are tied into the curriculum. The theme in grade four is love of God and neighbor. We look for ways in which to carry out the message of the Gospel in our school and in our everyday life through corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
